CEED – Common Entrance Exam for Design
The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay conducts this exam once a year on a National level. Duration of the entrance test is 3 hours. This entrance exam allows you to pursue a Masters degree in design programs at Bombay, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jabalpur, and Kanpur. CEED scores are accepted by many renowned universities like Lovely Professional University, Vellore Institute, etc. The level of the entrance test is quite good but consists of two parts like part A and part B. Part A is a computer-based part and includes aptitude and maths while part B includes drawing.
NIFT – National Institute of Fashion and Technology
The National Institute of Fashion and Technology conducts this exam once a year across 16 NIFT campuses. This exam offers both a bachelor and masters degree in fashion designing. The application procedure is online and candidates can download the admit cards through the same. To clear any of the above exams, the candidate must have a good dressing sense and a creative mind to explore many new styles.
